Your pay, bills and debts are personal. We keep only what we need to build your workbook, and delete it on a schedule.
Who we are
FastWaySheets is run by Rapid Leaf Technologies (Pty) Ltd, a company registered in South Africa. We're responsible for what you give us. For anything about your information, write to feedback@fastwaysheets.com.
What we keep
- Your answers: your country, pay, bills and expenses, debts and savings goals.
- Your email, if you claim a free place or join the waitlist.
- The page or link that brought you here, such as a link from a video.
- Your time zone, as your device gives it, so your plan starts on your own day.
- A scrambled code made from your internet address when you claim a place, so one connection can't take many places. It can't be turned back into the address.
We never ask for bank account or card numbers, bank logins or ID numbers.
What we use it for
- To build your preview and your workbook.
- To keep the beta fair, with one place for each person.
- To email you once, after your first payday with the workbook, to ask how it went.
- To email you when the full version launches, only if you ticked that box, or when places open again, if you joined the waitlist.
- To see where people get stuck, so we can fix it. We count that with a random code, never your name or email.
We don't sell your information, show ads or use it for anything else.
Who else handles it
- Google Cloud hosts the site and stores your information, in the United States. Its servers keep a standard log of each visit, with your internet address and browser, for 30 days.
- Cloudflare checks that you're a person when you claim a place or join the waitlist. To do that, it sees your internet address and details of your browser.
Both handle your information only on our behalf, under their data protection terms.
Cookies
We set one cookie, which keeps your answers with you as you go through the questions. It lasts 30 days. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
- Answers without a free place: 30 days after you last changed them.
- A tester's answers and email: 90 days after the place was claimed. Your workbook page and link stop working then, but the file you downloaded keeps working.
- Emails for the launch or the waitlist: until we send that email, or you ask us to remove you.
- Visit logs: 30 days.
Keeping it safe
Your information is encrypted on its way to us and where it's stored. Only our app and the people who run FastWaySheets can reach it.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or for us to stop emailing you. Write to feedback@fastwaysheets.com, and we'll reply within 30 days.
If you're unhappy with how we handled your information, you can complain to South Africa's Information Regulator, or to the data protection authority where you live.
Children
FastWaySheets is for adults, 18 and over.
Changes
If this page changes, the date at the top changes too.
